Taylitha Basil is a military officer in the Alliance Fleet.

Appearance and Personality
Taylitha Basil is a brown-furred Karaka'An with deep red hair, dark blue eyes, and an athletic build. Her pelt is sufficiently thick that it makes it difficult for her to swim, as she becomes waterlogged and sinks easily.

Taylitha's voice is a mezzosoprano, usually with a cheerful tone.

Taylitha's bright red hair is unusual on Gledig.

Pre-Service History
Born in 435 BA. Taylitha was raised on Tamberlaine, an Alliance colony, in an area called Burbage Township. She had several younger brothers and sisters; "she had a metric ton of siblings, she knew how to coax." Taylitha didn't grow up near any mountains and was a poor swimmer due to her thick pelt. Due to her distance from Selnor, she attended a satellite campus of Fleet Academe, starting late by transferring in from a local school. She started on sport fencing as a pre-teen, and was good enough that she considered going professional, but Fleet called to her more. She did, however, win Lea Ceau Tournament with variable holoblade in 455 BA; she was twenty years old. Winning the tournament was the turning point for her in terms of deciding what she wanted to do with her life: continue fencing or commit to Fleet. She chose the latter.

Family
* Siblings: (8): a brother and sister who are older, and four younger brothers and three younger sisters.

Service History
*Ensign, UAV Nightslip
* Lieutenant - ???
* Commander - ???
* First Commander - UAV Stardancer

She mentions that her last ships (before the Stardancer) "had fielded places that looked like outdoor cabanas and a nightclub" for their officers' clubs.

Ensign
As an ensign, Taylitha attended the ensign training retreat on Quickwater Reserve; at that point, she had been an ensign for three months and was still unsure what route she wanted to chart through Fleet ranks . There, she met Alysha Forrest, who became a lifelong role model and friend, and first encountered Mike Beringwaite. During a disastrous canoe trip at the end of the retreat, their canoe hit strong rapids and broke up, leaving Alysha badly injured; Taylitha displayed courage and ingenuity in getting to shore and calling for help. Because of this, although the group in general forfeited their mission, Taylitha received a commendation.

Interstitial Assignments
UAV Stardancer Career (First Commander)
Taylitha was assigned to the UAV Stardancer before Alastar Virgil, who in turn was assigned to the Stardancer six months before Alysha Forrest and Laelkii Takara Lifeweave. She served as First Commander, in charge of personnel. Since the Stardancer was commissioned "only a few years ago" as of Faith in the Service.

On Gledig
Six months after Alysha Forrest became captain of the Stardancer, the ship was sent to investigate possible civil war on Gledig, as well as the disappearance of Svetlana Karishenikov. As First Commander, Taylitha provided the general briefing on the planet and its situation. Taylitha also joined the advance party, along with Alysha Forrest, Laelkii Takara Lifeweave, and Alastar Virgil in investigating the planet. She was subsequently present in the Gledig governor's mansion during the bombing by Gledig#Secessionists Secessionist terrorists.

After the advance party was rescued by Svetlana Karishenikov in the wake of the bombing, Taylitha spent the night with her compatriots at Svetlana's family's home, playing cards with Laelkii. When Alysha and Alastar returned to the Stardancer, Taylitha and Laelkii remained on-planet, where they were taken to speak with Maire, the leader of the pro-Accords, at their base. Maire was unhappy with their presence, but allowed them to stay and help; Taylitha was teamed with Svetlana Karishenikov for the make-work job of checking the mine stores.

When taking in the fresh air (and doing some incidental scouting) later, Taylitha and Svetlana encountered Dylan Brushnie, who invited them to lunch at Cafe Oumphorus to discuss things with a semi-neutral party present. The lunch was interrupted by Gavin Medearin's terrorists attacking the restaurant, during which he attempted to hold Taylitha hostage and had to be talked down by Dylan. After, Dylan, Taylitha, and Svetlana split up. Taylitha made it back to the base, but quickly realized that Svetlana had not returned and thus was likely in trouble.

That night, the Secessionists attacked the Pro-Accord base. Taylitha insisted that Laelkii stay with her rather than going to help at the clinic, because she felt responsible for having split with Svetlana earlier, which resulted in her capture. When they reached the base's main cavern, Taylitha volunteered them to be the ones to scout the Secessionist encampments and activity outside the base.

Laelki and Taylitha discovered the Secessionists mining the tracks, and that he had a large number of people near the entrance. Svetlana got in touch with them and they arranged to regroup at the track close to Daleth. They also saw a ship--the pirate shuttle--heading toward Gledig. When they met up with Svetlana, they saw, from a distance, the base collapsing. Its munitions had been deliberately detonated by the pro-Accord faction to kill the Secessionists trapped inside and prevent them from claiming it. Svetlana led them to the warehouse where the pro-Accords who had fled before detonating the base were holed up.

When Alysha Forrest arrived to deal with the pirates, and to deal with Governor Kerenkev and Representative Brad Courtland, Taylitha was among the throng at the courtyard with Laelkii and Svetlana, and witnessed the confessions of Kerenkev and Courtland as to their interference and corruption that had nearly destroyed Gledig." She also witnessed Alysha Forrest's duel with Dylan Brushnie that brought the conflict to an end.

On Cat's Eye Station 40
The UAV Stardancer was sent on a mission to resupply the forty-odd stations around the Cat's Eye Nebula, including CENS-40, a job that Taylitha found straightforward but dull. Meeting the station's admin and commander, Avram Hancock, enlivened it as she soon discovered that he was a swordsman and had won the Le Ceau holoblade tournament. Their mutual interest in swordplay (and well-matched skill levels) led Avram to invite Taylitha to spar with him at the station's gym, an invitation that she accepted.

The two sparred, matching one another in skill for an hour (Taylitha felt that he was more of a challenge than her Le Ceau bout), until Taylitha stumbled and Avram caught her. He then asked her to dinner, and she accepted.

Taylitha realized that she had conflicted feelings about her dinner date with Avram. She was attracted to him, but found the idea of being romantically attached to a human upsetting. Laelkii Takara Lifeweave listened to her concerns; she reassured Taylitha that she wasn't a racist, but questioned why she was so upset by the idea. Taylitha revealed that her hesitation with humans was because "they made us." Nevertheless, with Laelkii's reassurance to rest and calm herself and then attend, she went to dinner.

The meal with Avram led to engaging conversation, and their discussion led to comparisons of fencing styles, including various Harat-Shariin styles. As a result of this discussion, to attempt to prove a point (at least, ostensibly to prove a point), the two dueled in the Jezherel style, a highly sensual style, resulting in a kiss. However, after the kiss Taylitha broke away and told Avram that she wasn't comfortable being intimate with a human in that way. He was disappointed, but assured her that he had had a wonderful evening and bid her a good night.

When Taylitha returned to the Stardancer, distraught, Laelkii comforted her.

On Amity
After Gledic, Taylitha began training Alysha in swordplay, on the principle that Alysha wasn't going to stop "getting [herself] into trouble" and Taylitha had appointed herself the person to keep an eye on her. She was therefore unsurprised when, while they were reviewing the data about potential alien ruins on the planet that would come to be called Amity, Alysha expressed interest in visiting the planet herself.

When Alastar went missing, Taylitha arranged the search parties, and then joined them, partnered with Chelsey Ferroe. She was in shouting distance when Darya Darteriov and Felsha Rennagan located the caves in which Alastar might have disappeared, and ordered the mapping team down to assist with exploration. Taylitha then reported her findings back to Alysha, before being ordered to bed for sleep (but not before assigning Kethy Skutterby to keep an eye on her).

Taylitha confessed her worries regarding Alastar and the mission generally to Alysha, who suggested sparring, this time with real swords set to the bluntest setting. Taylitha didn't hold back, working out her frustrations in the bout and shortening her blade more and more to reduce the space between them. Alysha herself stopped holding back and switched to street-fighting, and they fought to a standstill. After, Taylitha shared her worries and frustrations, and noted that Personnel had been pressing her to determine whether she wanted to move on or stay put. Ultimately she didn't want to move because of Alysha, and because she loved the Stardancer and its crew, but she had to convince them she was sure of that.

Taylitha returned to the planet, where she and Alysha discussed whether Fleet would be sending a bigger team and moving the Stardancer on, and how and whether they could possibly delay that. After Alysha moved on to the Obelisk site, and night began to fall, Taylitha had Felsha call Rashiveil to take on overseeing the site. On the way back to the Pads, she encountered a dark shape hissing at her, with an intent gaze and spear in one of its hands; it would later be confirmed to be one of the Small Ones. Despite being unsure of her own abilities at first contact, she attempted to communicate with the alien without scaring it off. The alien was too wary, though, and fled. Taylitha called for backup to pursue it, and ultimately cornered it. The attempted to trap it failed and the creature escaped again. When trying to contact Alysha to figure out what to do, Taylitha discovered that she was not aboard the Stardancer. The alien then reappeared, attempted to communicate, and collapsed. Taylitha took it to the medplex.

Quotes
"And I joined Fleet because I like to meet people."<br />"There are definitely easier ways to meet people," Alysha said, brows lifting.<br />"As many people? As varied?" Taylitha asked. Her ears drooped. "I don't tell people this often because they make fun of it, but I'm hoping we'll discover a major new alien species in my lifetime. Maybe even during my tour of duty."

To Alysha Forrest: "Look, I know how it is with you and getting yourself into trouble, so I’m not going to try to argue you out of it. You obviously need someone to keep an eye on you, and I’ve got no problem being that person. Particularly since I appointed myself."
Ships of 75 personnel, and stationary facilities of 50 people or more, or more have the multiple watch rotations.
* The Command Watch Rotation involves all command-track personnel, and is scheduled across four watches: alpha, beta, delta, and gamma; these watches are each six and a quarter hours long.
**Alpha-Command starts, nonsensically, at Mark 7 (7 AM) and ends at Mark 13:15 (1:15 PM).
**Beta-Command begins at Mark 13:15 (1:15 PM) and extends to 19:30 (7:30 PM)
**Delta-Command begins at Mark 19:30 (7:30 PM) and extends to 25:45 (Skip:45 AM); this watch is known as 'night shift'
**Gamma-Command begins at Mark 25:45 (Skip:45 AM) and extends to Mark 7 (7 AM); this watch is known by several names: 'the graveyard shift', 'the deadeye shift', and 'the long haul'.
* The Standard Watch Rotation is followed by specialists and non-command-track personnel. Each shift is eight hours long, and there are only three:
**Alpha-Standard: Begins at Mark 7 (7 am) and ends at Mark 15 (3 PM)
**Beta-Standard: Begins at Mark 15 (3 PM) and ends at Mark 23 (11 PM).
**Skip: This one-hour break between Beta and Gamma-Standard fills in the one hour gap in the rotation caused by the eight-hour duration. It lasts from Mark 23 to Mark 24. Jokers call it the 'no-man's hour' because you can never find anyone to answer your questions during it.
**Gamma-Standard: Begins at Mark 24 (midnight) and ends at Mark 7 (7 AM). This is the specialist "night shift" and is the least populous.

Ships of less than 75 personnel, and stationery facilities of 50 people or less, have the following watch rotations:

Command vs Specialist Tracks
Command track officers are heading for administrative positions (Admiral, Captain, First Commander). They rotate throughout departments as they rank up. Specialists stay in their department for the duration of their careers. "There was already some friction between career specialists and the command officers phasing in and out of their areas of responsibility." For most members of Fleet, "Jobs aboard a starship were just that: jobs. Most people were perfectly content to remain in the departments they’d chosen, doing the work they’d specialized in, on the ship they’d been assigned to."

Command-track members will be monitored by Personnel regarding whether they should be moved up or moved along to progress in their career track. While they are not required to do so, Personnel puts effort into ensuring that they are genuinely satisfied to remain at their level (and that they understand that their pay will remain the same unless and until they move up). "...Personnel had definite notions about how long its command track personnel were supposed to stay in rank before advancing. If Taylitha wanted to stay, she could. But she’d have to convince them she was sure." "Promotions within departments usually kept you on your assigned berth...but move outside of it, and Fleet would attempt to assign you to wherever your new rank and specialty was needed. One need not accept. Esprit de corps was held in high esteem by Fleet Central’s Personnel Office, or so they constantly told [Taylitha] in the literature they sent all the first commanders in Fleet."

Captains' Retreats
These are run biennially by the Medical & Psychiatry Division as a way to check on the mental health of the senior officers. The Division invites members of the admiralty to give training, support, and leadership guidance. The retreat is considered a way for captains to keep track of their cohort, learn things from their superiors, and let Medical get a feel for whether they need any help. It usually lasts about two weeks. During that period, ensigns will be dropped for their leadership retreats, and the ship itself will be refitted/resupplied.

Wherever the captains are dropped off, their shuttles are expected to wait for them in case they need to return to their ships in the event of an emergency. These shuttles are the only channels permitted captains during their retreats, because retreats are held under comm blackout to encourage their participants to remain focused on the moment, and to cut down on external distractions.

Ensign's Leadership Retreats
Only for command-track ensigns. Takes place during the same period as the captain's retreats, but ends one week early so they can return to help with refits.

Specialist Turnover
Specialist turnover was "one of the many compromises Fleet's traditionalist had made with the militant faction that insisted letting people "rot" in the same ship their entire career wasn't doing Fleet any favors. Rather than moving personnel in and out of the roster as they advanced, the way the human Navy did, Fleet waited until a large enough number of specialists had enough logged time in their positions, and had indicated a willingness to shift assignments, and then did an entire raft of them at once. They claimed this was less disruptive than the human way of doing things; Taylitha wasn't sure she agreed. She wasn't the only one either, because like most compromises this one pleased no one."

Physicals
*telegem implantation
* full-body scan, updated every year, includes a skin map used to check for growths or cancers, or on the progress of healing injuries.

Divisions and Job Duties
Current Fleet ratio of soldier to staff is 1:6. Fleet members are expected to chart their own course up the ranks, whether their ultimate goal is captaincy, scientific research, or being the ship's chef.

Divisions
*Command
*Logistics & Personnel
**Finance
**HR
**Records
**IT
*Communications and Protocol
**Ambassadorial
*Navigation & Galactic Mapping
**Exploration
*Tactics & Arms
** Security

Admiralty also includes:
*Recruiting & Teaching
*Research & Development
*Intelligence
*Building/Fleet Assets
*Assignments (who goes where, when)
*Public Relations
*Strategic Council

Job Duties
Admiral
Every starbase's military base has an admiral overseeing its operations. Since each starbase serves as a home yard for the starships of Fleet, this admiral oversees a group of (also) admirals, who are in charge of assigning ships to various missions and keeping track of their activities.

Captain
* first contact
* interface with foreign or allied governments
* battle stuff if necessary

First Commander
* personal management
* logistics
* budgets

The First Commander oversees the NOTC and all officer training, handles all the promotion and transfer paperwork, and manages inventory. She has access to all non-classified personnel reports of people her rank and under.

Second Commander
* Head of the science department

Chief Medical Officer
Laelkii, also awesome.

Ship Procedures
Reports and Logs
After Action Reports
These are a thing.

Efficiency Reports
Part of officer evaluations, these are written by senior officers about their juniors and used as guides for improvement/training/promotion.

Project Management Task List
Used by officers in the same department to keep track of things across different shifts.

Project Logs
Text versions of logged activity are available to everyone, but realtime viseos of people at work are locked to commander-level access or greater, unless the requestor is in the department, and then it's lieutenant commander.

Special Positions
Not sure whether to put these here or in the Fleet manuals, so...
* Alien Liaison: person in charge of overseeing communication with Flitzbe and/or water environment aliens.
* NOTC: ("not-see"). New Officer Training Coordinator. Warcruisers are large enough to have NOTC teams, and the person in charge will be known as the Senior NOTC.

Patrol Patterns
Standard patrol patterns follow routes used most commonly by merchant ships in a specific sector, and hit all the Well repeaters and buoys in zone (in order to check that they are operational).

Beacon Testing
An important part of routine maintenance of settled space undertaken by Fleet ships. Beacons, relays, buoys, and repeaters are all pinged to check their response time, and then their internal records are checked against those in a ship's database. Discrepancies are reported. Because the hardware can be manufactured by private firms, local government agencies, naval contractors, or Fleet itself, the formats for maintenance records can be different and need to be matched before they can be decoded and read. "The tech's the same, but none of the rest of it is standardized: not the maintenance schedules, or the programming that issues the alerts when they need repair, replacement, or upgrade." Fleet-issued hardware encrypts the maintenance records and requires a valid handshake to unlock it.

Mapping
Fleet ships perform mapping expeditions both to map new space and to check existing starcharts. Mapping outposts are extremely bare-bones, without shops, a bar, or a 3deo.

Logistics
Depots
Supplies are maintained in various depots throughout the Alliance, and I obviously thought about this and probably based it on Naval supply classes because Taylitha says this in response to a question about spare uniforms (Class II) being shipped from Alpha's depot: "the depot on Alpha's stopped serving this part of the frontier. They built a new facility in Sector Fe specializing in troop resupply classes, and everything spinward of Alpha is receiving from there now."
Shipments
Fleet cargos are sealed with Fleet-specific tape. The bins have chips with shipping data on them. They also auto-lock themselves when closed.

Miscellaneous
* Messages from Fleet Command arrive tagged in bright red. Flat messages "rarely arrived without prompting and always heralded a new mound of paperwork. A single FC flat could generate four or five separate paper trails."
Surela's daughter, the shapeshifting Chatcaavan girl.

Physical Characteristics
"Her eyes had settled into their adult color, a scintillating peridot green, as cheerful as the new grass growing around her pudgy legs."

Shapechanging female. Going through a bow phase. Bows on the horns! Bows on the tail! Bows on dresses! Bows on the Flitzbe! (who "hangs onto them" with its neural fur, so the bow just... sticks to it.) Likes to paint her claws rainbow colors, with glitter.

Biography
Has a cheerful disposition, even as an infant.

Reese named her Lunet, which means gift in Chatcaavan; she thought it sounded Eldritchy. But the name as given is pronounced "loon EHT" while the Chatcaavan word is pronounced "LOON iht" (and so should probably be spelled luunit), so the Chatcaava don't realize what she intended.

Timeline
As calculated by Julika:

Lunet's age in months:
* 0. early autumn (9 months after coup, 4 months after engagement of Jahir and Sediryl) -- Lunet's birth
* 8. late spring -- wedding (and conception of Lisinthir's babies)
* 9. early summer -- investiture
* 12. early autumn -- Lunet's first birthday
* 13. mid-autumn -- Anseahla (birth of Vasiht'h's babies)
* 18. early spring -- Lisinthir's babies

"Given the identical gestational length of Chatcaava, Eldritch, and human, one would assume similar developmental timelines after birth, right? So [at the time of Dragons' Fealty] she should be running around and babbling."
A Tam-illee healer, mentor to Jahir Seni Galare. Variously spelled as Lafeyette and Lefeyette.

Physical Appearance
Gray eyes.
Smells like pine duff. Probably because "loves hiking."

Biography
Former Dean of the Seersana University medical college, and former head of its student clinic. Also a professor. Healer-surgeon: first license was acute visceral, second was reconstructive. Did time in crisis care.

Attended a professional conference on Tam-ley at the end of Dreamhearth, which allowed him to stop over to visit Starbase Veta.

At the opening of Dreamstorm, we see that he has gone on sabbatical after being at the university for 'three decades'. At this time he's been single again for 'a good two decades', which would put his divorce (I think) before the events of Mindtouch. Interviewed for the Head of Staff at the civilian hospital at Veta, but didn't accept. Went on conference circuit instead, did some lectures.

Enjoys outdoor sports: hiking, horseback riding (though he last rode horses in his twenties, they're rarer in the Alliance), did some archery.

Quotes
* "The most effective medicine is often the least invasive."
* "Medicine is ninety percent indigestion, lifestyle adjustments, and head colds and ten percent heroic measures. Don't lose sight of that."
* "Keep going. If there's no map, there will always be people who assume you're lost. Prove them wrong."
* "It's a long game, arii. And in the long game, courage gets us home."

Trivia
* learned to use eyesight, hearing, smell as diagnostic tools, along with the technological ones
* prefers black coffee, sweetens it with honey; also drinks it iced; rarely dilutes it
* appears to prefer savories to sweets (likes cheese but has eaten caramels) and hearty meals
* but likes sweets as well (saw you drinking cider there, buddy)
* Also drinks alcohol
* Mentioned Iley but I don't think he's devout, does use 'hell' (singular); also curses
* likes big open floor plans and clean uncluttered spaces in his living areas, and big windows on preferably pristine wilderness
* likes 1940s-style singing: torch singers and crooners (male and female both)

Body Language
KindlesFlame appears to have the reserved-but-casual body language of an early film star heartthrob. Lots of crossed arms, leaning on doors, leaning back. He also has the long-legged guy habit of sitting with his legs folded (ankle on opposite knee). On top of that, some learned professorial hand gesturing: mid-air finger counting ('point one... point two'), finger wagging, and hand up to stop students from interrupting him. Lifting hand palm up to underscore points.

Jahir observes in Mindtouch that the Tam-illee's control over his ears, expression and shoulders is flawless. And again in Dreamhearth: "Few expressions crossed the Tam-illee's face that he did not allow." He rarely shows unease (as with flicked back ears).

Most of his subconscious/uncontrolled body language is related to thinking: He taps tables or desks while thinking, does the 'mmm' thing. Laughter tends to come out as barks, but he does a lot of less animated laughing: chuckles, guffaws. Grins easily, often wry.

After the RGRV Visionary crash-landed on the Vault of the Twelveworld, he helped Sediryl carry drinking water back to the wreck. He and Sediryl were the first to hear the howling of the feral children of the ancient Chatcaava.
* "I’m not so sure I wouldn’t have said the same, had she showed up in one of my tutoring sessions. ‘Look, children! A real Other! Two weeks after Lisinthir dueled Gaviin Telde Sovanil -- to which she didn't object, because Gaviin had been succeeding inappropriately in attaching her daughter and heir -- Elenoriel went to Liolesa to complain about the duels, because his latest target had been her sister's son Noran Mathanith, whom she favored even over her own child. Her complaint was that Lisinthir was "cutting his way through his peers", that is, dueling without regard to political allegiances.
I NEED HERE TO REMEMBER to look up Disengage and get the details of her going to Liolesa and why (because of Lisinthir) and dump that as part of 'history' in her biography, because I need that data for Fealty. It's in MP somewhere I think. Likewise the info about this being the reason Lisinthir gets sent should be in his bio. And the guy he embarrassed, it should become a historical point in his bio. Wife of Hirianthial. Head of Laisrathera (House).

Physical Appearance
Dark brown skin, middling height, black hair (kept in braids), blue eyes. "Light-boned limbs," typical of low gravity origin, but her height gives away her Martian roots; the Moon colonists are taller.

Biography
Reese is 32 years old during the events of <i>Earthrise</i>.

Six years prior to the events of <i>Earthrise</i> a mysterious benefactor, later revealed to be Liolesa Galare sent Reese an encrypted message and enough money to get Reese out of debt.

Most of the crew of the TMS Earthrise were hired 3 years before the start of the book <i>Earthrise</i>. Reese hired the twins (Sascha and Irine) first, then Kis'eh't 3 months later and Bryer 1 month after that. The exception to this is Allacazam who had been with Reese for 7 years <i>Earthrise</i> begins.

Reese was in the Mediplex of Starbase Kappa for 2 days, having her esophagus "repaved" (ie, replaced) by Hirianthial.

During the Solstice Vigil, Reese received a stack of patents from Kis'eh't, a joint calligraphy scroll with Hirianthial from Bryer, a Founder's Stone on Mars from Irine and Sascha (plus new nightclothes and underthings from Irine, all tasteful).
A peach to coral ombre velvet hooded cloak, lined in cream colored satin and fur was next, plus a fillet of gold with three stones in the middle, two cabochon rubies roughly the size of Reese's thumbnails and between them a tawny fire opal known as the Dorolith opal, roughly the size of Reese's thumb. It was part of the Jisiensire jewel trove and was gifted to Reese from Hirianthial. From Liolesa, a choker of apricot-colored moonestones and rubies, faceted. It was not a historied piece, ordered due to the colors chosen for Laisrathera not being common in the gem hoards of Ontine.
Family
The Eddings family follows Martian tradition since the civil war with Earth, which involves using artificial insemination to have children - daughters only. Seven generations of the family have lacked a father.
* Aunt Mabel
* Gran - Grandmother
* Great-Aunt Charla

Quotes
* "We did not spring Hirianthial from jail, flee all over the Alliance with pirates on our tail, save him from that crystal mind-sickness and then risk him arresting a drug lord just so he could die on a backwater colony world because the natives are having a fight about who gets to play with the horses and who has to work like normal people."
Physical Characteristics
Beautiful, graceful, self-disciplined, tranquil, and utterly intimidating. Often described as having a regal bearing.

Hazel/caramel-ish eyes with blue flecks... like a darker, less pristine version of Liolesa's (which are the clear light yellow of topazes).

Biography
At some point, she went offworld to get help with fertility problems, enabling her to have Lili. She left the world in company with Liolesa.

She is one of Liolesa's few intimates (and knows it), but confesses that even so she doesn't know all that goes through the Empress's mind. She's very politically acute, both locally and in interplanetary arenas, an avid reader of history and news, and comfortable and familiar with Alliance technology. Liolesa's family, the Jesa, would ordinarily be the head of the entire Galare House, but for political reasons cannot be seen to have so much power; which means that in practice, Fassiana as the head of the "northern" Galares is standing in for her as head of the Galare House. They confer closely about what they need done for the Galare.

Fassiana takes an interest in her tenants, but she has a lot of them so does not have time to consort with them personally. This is almost entirely due to her being involved in Liolesa's larger schemes, and the fact that she is managing all the Galare families, not just the ones she is purportedly in charge of.

Quotes
* "Of course. But a Queen needs instruments, and we are Galare."

* "The outworld has given me a family, and Liolesa braved that world to bring it me. I have long hoped to give her something in return... what better than an adventuring niece?"

* "Comport yourself wisely, Sediryl--whatever that means to you. I cannot know your priorities. Make sure you do."

* "Go ask the Royal Procurer. Check the almanacs, and the ledgers. See you where our food comes from, Surela. And then tell me how you mean to solve the problem without the aid of the aliens."

Trivia
* asked Sediryl to call her Great-Aunt, and calls her Niece
* has a set of telegem-hidden earrings from Sediryl

The next most populous Galare province is Delen, immediately to the north, with 2200 people spread from its coast to its inland forests.

I believe at some point Lili (or Fassiana? In GoF or Jubilee Summer?) said that Delen was large enough for more than one provincial town.

"My mother also takes an interest in our tenants," Lili said. "But there are more of them, too many for her to know personally." [...]<br />
Vasiht'h's (favorite) sister, a Glaseah. Reproductive specialist.

Physical Appearance
* smells like tart citrus

Biography
Sehvi met Kovihs at university on Tam-ley; they were the only Glaseah on campus, and he was her tutor in gene theory. He proposed three years after they met, which was during Jahir's and Vasiht'h's trial period on Starbase Veta.

The wedding was on Anseahla; both Vasiht'h and Jahir attended.

About five years after Jahir's Selnor residency, Sehvi and Kovihs were the parents of two young sons. They had a third son at some point after that.

On Tam-ley, Sehvi worked in a city as a fertility specialist, but commuted via Pad from a beautiful parcel in a rural community.

When the attack on Tam-ley came, Sehvi was just getting her turn at the public Pad to go home after work; some instinct prompted her to dive through the Pad tunnel in the nick of time, although she lost the end of her tail when the tunnel abruptly closed. Her youngest broke a leg, and her husband was badly injured and trapped under rubble, but the whole family eventually made it off Tam-ley to refugee housing on Starbase Veta, where Vasiht'h came and rescued them.

After they helped Vasiht'h close up shop permanently on Veta, Sehvi and family went with her brother to Anseahla to see their family. When they got there, said family informed them that most of them wanted to move to Escutcheon. For a while, it looked like Sehvi and family would be among the exceptions, because Kovihs felt that the move would not be safe, but after Vasiht'h took him along on his trip to Starbase Ne (where he went to consult with Sediryl about transportation for his family), Kovihs changed his mind.

Sehvi now lives with her family in the Seni Manse, and has a busy practice as a midwife and fertility specialist for the Eldritch, with two offices, one adjacent to the hospital in Laisrathera, and one in a refurbished house in the Seni village. She has an Eldritch assistant, Melis Afen Seni, and her brother Vasiht'h also helps out, with counseling.

In her spare time, Sehvi makes ice cream in the Seni kitchen.

Family
* Husband: Kovihs
* Children:
**Joreht
**Paven
** currently unnamed youngest
Parents and extended family

First Residence
On Tam-ley. A beautiful parcel in a small rural community, along with a Pad to commute to work to. Has a large, open great room with a high-ceilinged kitchen and soft, well-used furniture; low, softly stuffed couches; a kitchen table with lots of nicks and scrapes from rambunctious kids and a fat, whale-shaped sugar bowl (their parents always had one, but it was a plain, battered pot). There was a lake just beyond a second hill that the kits liked to swim in. (Sehvi "drownproofed" them the moment they were old enough.)

Quotes
"You could give up your wrongful concentrations and go into practice with each other. Wouldn't that be something? Glaseah and Eldritch, esper therapists at large!"

"If everyone fell apart at the least bit of sadness, who'd be left to pick up the pieces? You're sad, right? Should you really have to become completely nonfunctional to prove it?"

Trivia
* Likes romance novels.
* habitually makes her kerinne thick enough to stand a spoon in, and then serves it with water for dilution
* prefers her interfaces to work with gestures and holographs
Body Language
* does chin in palm thing when listening
* nose wrinkling
* habit of leaning toward the camera when talking in viseo calls

Formerly know as the Slave Queen, the most exalted and most debased female in the Empire. The granddaughter of the Chatcaavan Emperor prior to Kauvauc.

Physical
The Queen has slender, graceful limbs, with skin a deep pewter that shades to pearly gray over her stomach and throat. Her mane is dark. Unlike four-armed females, she lacks breasts. Prior to her ability to modify her own body, her wings were cut into patterns: scalloped edges and decorative cuts and incisions that rendered her incapable of flying. Her collar is silver set with amber cabochons. Orange eyes, "all fire-reds and outrageous yellows." She is thirty-seven revolutions (years of the Throneworld) old at the time of Lisinthir Nase Galare's tenure as Ambassador.

Known Shapes
* Karaka'An (gray striped with long claws) - obtained from one of her grandsire's slaves
* Human (orange-eyed with dark hair) - obtained from one of her grandsire's slaves
* Eldritch (orange-eyed) - obtained from Lisinthir Nase Galare
** In her Eldritch form, the Queen bears a strong resemblance to Liolesa Galare's relatives and is almost tall enough for her head to be level with Sediryl's

Biography
Prior to the Ambassador's Arrival
As a child, she practiced the Touch and the Change on her grandsire's slaves, obtaining both a human and Karaka'An shape, though at the time she didn't know their names. She told no one about this, but her dam saw her Change once and beat her for it. When her grandsire was defeated by the Emperor, she was captured and brought to the Throneworld Court as a prize, to become his Slave Queen, the most exalted and most debased of all females. She served as Queen for twenty-five years before the arrival of Lisinthir Nase Galare as Alliance Ambassador ad'Chatcaava.

The Queen was aware of Chatcaavan history and customs dating back before the Empire was one of despotism and slavery.

During the Chatcaavan War
Even the Wingless
As of the arrival of Lisinthir, the Queen was in a uniquely rarefied position: the most exalted and most debased female. She had a comparatively private space and a few duties of her own (including bringing slaves to the preparation room to be decorated and collared, and giving permission for females in the harem to attempt to conceive). She had an alien slave who attended to her: Laniis Baker, who she named Khaska after ancient Chatcaavan bellringers, because Laniis was distressed at being called "Slave." She was also protected from the attentions of most other males and from humiliating public use, though not because she was valued as a person, but because she was the Emperor's private possession and he was reluctant to share. For the most part, the only of those given frequent freedom of her tower were the Emperor and Second, and Second was usually gentle with her, requiring little more than bathing and wing-oiling. Nevertheless, her despair was only muted by the fact that she had never imagined freedom or personhood for herself and so did not miss it.

The Queen's first, life-changing encounter with Ambassador Lisinthir was at his introduction to the court, which&mdash;due to the machinations of Third and his Baavo, along with the Emperor himself&mdash;also included the presence of three new alien slaves: a Malarai and Tam-illee, and, notably, an Eldritch like Lisinthir: Bethsaida Emil Galare, who the Queen did not yet know was the heir of the Eldritch queen. She noted Laniis's dismay as the new ambassador seemed indifferent to her plight and the plight of the new slaves. The Queen and Laniis told the new slaves that they were unable to do anything for them, and thus oversaw the rapid deterioration in Bethsaida, as she suffered from receiving too many violent and lascivious touches, and quickly became first ill and then unresponsive.

Lisinthir's indifference (having never been true) did not last, as Lisinthir quickly requested permission to be able to visit the Queen, and the Emperor, amused, permitted it. Lisinthir used the time to assess Bethsaida's health and slowly begin to convince the Queen of her agency. This led to many additional effects: an increasing sense of restlessness and a desire to learn Laniis's real name and then her language among them. Ultimately the Queen and Laniis felt able to assist with a rescue operation. The plan required the Queen to take an Eldritch pattern to mimic Bethsaida during her 'presentation' and public rape, but Bethsaida, already traumatized from being handled by the Chatcaava, could not bear her touch for long enough for the Touch to succeed. Lisinthir instead provided the Pattern for her, and she stood in Bethsaida's stead, to be publicly raped and tortured by the Emperor while in an Eldritch form, as Bethsaida, Laniis, and the two other slaves escaped, though Laniis expressed sorrow at leaving her behind. In the aftermath, the Queen decided to ask Lisinthir to tell her more of Universal, the language Laniis had begun teaching her, and about his home.

As Lisinthir rose in favor, the Queen counseled him on the ways that he would be challenged and tested by other males--most especially the Emperor. He came to her after he had been raped by the Emperor, and she called for the Surgeon to heal the honor wounds. Second also came to her, and shocked her by seeking information from her about Lisinthir; he spoke to her as if she knew things that were useful, which was a foreign and unsettling thing. Lisinthir continued to visit her every morning even as he was assaulted on a regular basis, and while he taught her Universal and told her about his people and how to think as they did, she continued to advise him. He, too, unsettled her by indicating that he was lifting the Veil for her because he trusted her, and that he was incapable of ceasing to see her as a person. She was further unnerved as the Emperor began to seek her without agitation or anger, content with "trivial obeisance," though he did still leave her bound in an uncomfortable pose for a full night.

During the Mother's nearly-disastrous labor, the Queen aided Lisinthir in calling for the Surgeon, who normally did not treat females. After Lisinthir succeeded in convincing him, and the Mother was saved along with her newborn son, the harem warmed to the Queen and invited her to stay, crediting her with the Mother's survival. Later, Second came to her in agitation, and while she oiled his wings, she heard him discussing getting rid of Lisinthir with Third. She feared for Lisinthir, a fear borne out when Lisinthir informed her of Second's attempt at poisoning him. The Queen informed Lisinthir about the potential of using small doses of hekkret to build up immunity, and provided him his first rolls.

The Emperor came to ask her about Lisinthir, and she acknowledged that he came to visit her every day, but only to talk, and the Emperor left without hurting her, puzzling and worrying her, as an "Emperor who could talk to her, consider her, and then leave her without marking her... was a stranger." Later, while she was taking breakfast with Lisinthir, Second attempted to send him off so that the Queen could serve him; Lisinthir refused, saying that her mornings were his. Later, prompted by a complaint by Second, the Emperor visited Lisinthir and the Queen in the morning to confirm Second's report, and demanded that Lisinthir prove that he is a male by "making use" of the Queen; forced into a corner, and with the Queen's subtle encouragement, he did so in the gentlest way he could find. The Queen later told him that it had been pleasant for her to ease him. Later, when he came to her broken, she suggested that he could ease his torment by allowing the Emperor to sacrifice her; when he protested, she indicated that she had learned some of his lessons of love and sacrifice. Later, Second came to her enraged that she had been passing information to Lisinthir, and beat and raped her; it was the first time he had been violent to her. The Emperor later, again at Second's behest, came to her for more advice about Lisinthir; he did not hurt her, and acknowledged that he himself, like the Queen, was enthralled with the Ambassador.

Shortly thereafter, Third and his Hand arrived with more slaves--sixteen in all, both Pelted and human. The Queen, using her new mastery of Universal, explained their situation, warned them against violence or escape attempts, and sent them to the Preparation Room. After their presentation, she further explained that the Ambassador was not complacent, but had to play to the politics of the Court if he was to have any hope of success in having them freed.

When she heard that the Emperor and Lisinthir had seriously injured each other, she left the Tower despite this being forbidden to her, and was escorted to the clinic to see them. She was then present when he sent Third's newly-acquired slaves back. When Third and his Hand arrived to take out their frustrations on the Imperial Harem--and Third threatened to rape the Queen herself, despite that being expressly forbidden except at the Emperor's word--she, for the first time, was successful in driving him away, and he hurt neither her not any other harem members.

For a few days after Third's death, the Queen, Lisinthir, and the Emperor stayed together in her suite, having sex, both violent and not. Shortly after that, Lisinthir returned to show her messages of thanks from the slaves they had freed: a long one from Laniis, and more from others, including Bethsaida. However, the temporary peace was broken when Lisinthir came to her concerned that he had in fact convinced the Emperor to treat him as a male... and therefore, the Empire would treat the Alliance as a male to be broken, not a female to be largely ignored; she confirmed this, and they came up with a new plan.

After Lisinthir convinced the Emperor to take his pattern and Change, their encounters shifted. The Emperor wanted to feel first the Queen's fear, and then to feel her suffering so he could know what it was to weep. Finally, he wanted to feel what Lisinthir had suffered through torture to see what that was like. The Queen asked permission to leave so as not to watch Lisinthir be tortured. After that, the Emperor treated her very differently: he had empathy for her and had no will to punish her even after learning that she had posed as Bethsaida, he renamed her Treasure, and the three spent days together in newfound trust and pleasure (and, for the Emperor and Lisinthir, challenge).

Things finally came to a head with Second, and the Queen found Lisinthir very ill from poisoning by Second, and later learned that Second had challenged the Emperor. At the Emperor's behest, she fled to the clinic, where the Surgeon could shield her. Second was slain and the Emperor survived, and the Emperor sent Lisinthir away; she counseled him on the reasons why and said her goodbyes. After, the Emperor asked her forgiveness, shocking her, and asked her to be the Queen Ransomed rather than the Slave Queen, his comfort as he was her protection; she asked him to see the sea.

Amulet Rampant
After the Surgeon amputated her wing vanes, she bled so much that they were forced to put her in a gel tank, and then allow her to convalesce on a bed in the clinic.
After the Chatcaavan War
Trivia
Relationships
* As the Slave Queen, was made available by the Emperor to Second and Lisinthir. Second came to her primarily to be bathed and to have his wings oiled, and was normally kind to her. Third did not have general access to her.
* Thought fondly on the Mother, for several reasons: she was not as resentful as the other females toward her, she had been kind to Laniis, and she had sought out pregnancy with eager hope and was joyful upon becoming pregnant.
* Found Laniis's formality tiresome, but tolerated it.
* Laniis remembered her as kind, a person who made the nightmare of being an Imperial slave "bearable."
* Kept a piece of jewelry from every female who died in the harem, obtained for her by the Mother.

Names
Before/during the war:
* Was initially called "pet" by the Emperor, which Lisinthir correctly assumed meant "one step above slave, one step sideways from 'female.'" The Emperor later took to calling her Treasure, meaning not the object but the Chatcaavan ideal form, not a lowly object but an exalted abstraction.
* Referred to the Emperor as "Greatness," again in the Chatcaavan ideal form.

After the war (Jubilee Summer and In the Court of Dragons):
What she calls others
* Emperor: she refers to him as "the Emperor", "my mate", "my Emperor", or "my master". She calls him "my lord" and "my love". She also tells him that he is Greatness. Unlike everyone else, she almost never addresses him as "Exalted".
* Lisinthir: she most often thinks of him and refers to him as "the Ambassador", but also uses "my consort", "my Eldritch consort", "my mate", and "the Imperial Consort". She calls him "Imthereli-Lord" and "my lord" and "Lisinthir".
* Jahir: she usually calls him and refers to him as "Gentle Guide".
* Sediryl: she mostly calls her and refers to her as "sister" and "my sister", but she also sometimes uses "Princess Sediryl".
* Liolesa: she usually calls her Empress.

What others call her
* Many people mostly refer to her and think of her as "the Queen Ransomed" or simply "the Queen". Her other title is "Breath of the Living Air", which can be shortened to "Breath". Eldritch sometimes specify "the Chatcaavan Queen" or "the Chatcaavan Breath". Her underlings mostly address her as "my Queen".
* The Emperor refers to her as (and calls her) "the Queen Ransomed", and calls her "my Treasure", or sometimes other endearments like "my pet" and "beloved".
* Lisinthir calls her "Beauty" and "Beloved", and before others he says "the Queen". He also sometimes addresses her as "my Queen".
* Jahir calls her "my lady".
* Sediryl calls her "arii" and "sister".

Other
* Swears by the Living Air.
* Had a great deal of difficulty reading the facial expressions of alien slaves until she had spent a full year with Laniis and also gained an understanding of alien feelings by touching Lisinthir while using her Eldritch shape.
* The cuts in her wings were sealed with a liquid that sizzled, rendering them tough rather than supple and less prone to tears.
* Preferred to dress herself, except when her presentation jewels were too ungainly to don by herself.
* Two heads shorter than Lisinthir.
* Has never had a name. Before the current Emperor took power, she was titled as her father's daughter, and after, she was the Slave Queen.
* Restored her equanimity by soaking in the hottest of her baths.
* Had seen twelve Mothers give birth before Emerald.
* Was proficient at massage, though not as talented as a four-armed female due to the lack of two hands.
* Did not generally love pain; "[t]he first time she had been ushered into the world that gave Moon so much pleasure she'd left it wanting to die." When she developed more agency, however, she made a distinction: "To be an object and to suffer... the suffering has no meaning. To be a person and to choose suffering... that is different. That cleanses."
* Occasionally chose her Eldritch shape so that she could mourn with "proper tears."
* Felt drawn first to the sky, and then to the sky and the sea, and ultimately asked the Emperor to bring her to the shore.
* learned to ride a horse during the first visit to Escutcheon

Quotes
Even the Wingless
"Tell her I...I am the Slave Queen, the most exalted of all females in the Empire, and the most debased."

"Some things must be known before they can be missed," the Slave Queen said. "I have never known freedom, so how can I miss it?"

"It is what I am for, Ambassador. I am a vessel. It is all I do, suffering."

"As long as you are willing to bow your head to spare the pain of the worthless, you are no Chatcaavan. No matter what you feel when you are defending your life and honor. It is what moves you that makes you who you are."

"Perhaps what you have done here so far, the Alliance could do for the Empire. Perhaps if the Empire finds itself fighting a war it cannot easily win, it will remember its heart and become something greater than it is." -- to the Ambassador

"I drove Third away from the harem. And I left the Tower to see the Emperor in the clinic. I am... I am not what I was. But your stories could only suggest, Master. Only I could have effected the change in me."

Amulet Rampant
"I, too, am Outside, in a way. Females cannot partake of the world of power and agency of males, Surgeon. Some would say the Chatcaava have been lessened by that division. You, the other males who are Outside... how much more could you do if you did not have to live outside the world of males on the Inside? What could you accomplish freed from the necessity to maintain your neutrality? If you could choose sides, Surgeon... what an ally you would be! What amazing things you might do for the world you would choose to bring forth!"

"I'm afraid the revolution has already begun. I am just trying to keep it from killing everyone I care about."
“Not every question needs an immediate answer. Not if you want the right one.”

Farmer's Crown
"You are the Gentle Guide, and I was the Slave Queen, and people think we are patient and passive and kind, and perhaps we are. If we were not, our angers and our griefs would turn us into far more terrible people than those who were born to power, and who are comfortable wielding it. To have a master is safer. For everyone else."

Quotes and Observations by Others
"Do not play the fool, Mistress. Not all power is shaped by talon and fang."
:::::&mdash;Moon

"You never were an object," he said into her hair. "Even when you thought yourself powerless, you were changing the universe for the better. They tricked you into believing yourself no better than them."

Lili, Sediryl's cousin. The Heir to the Northern Galares.

Physical Characteristics
Biography
Pretends to be a featherhead, but an in actuality a very canny observer and analyst of local politics. She was always smart and hiding it (with her mother's subtle help), but she lacked ambition, and wasn't very interested in the outworld. Her entire goal in the beginning was to play a game: 'can I make everyone at court like me, and dismiss me as non-threatening.' The coup at Ontine, however, changed her dramatically; made her far more interested in politics, and in doing something with her intellect. (This is foreshadowed in Girl on Fire when Fassiana observes of her, "One has two choices: play dumb, or be ruthless. And my daughter doesn't have a ruthless bone in her body, alas. Not yet, anyway.")

She's looking forward to turning her eye toward a broader stage because Eldritch internal politics has become too predictable to her.

Quotes
* "Why would I want an intelligent man, when an intelligent man would be depressed and restive as my husband? You know as well as I do how little men are allowed to turn their hands to when they marry someone of our rank."

* "I can't blame you for believing the mask when I wore it intending to fool you. I didn't want to, you understand, but... you would have cleaved to me had you seen through it, and then no one would have believed it. You never suffered fools, Sediryl."

* "I find ordinary triumphs and tragedies more poignant now that I understand that losing a mother, or a home, is horror enough without dressing it up in angst and ribbons. So perhaps, at last, we understand each other a little better tahn we might have, those years ago when first we walked Ontine together."

* "No one comes of age in this court without learning to act as if one is observed at all times. And our servants are ubiquitous, and see to our every need. I have been surrounded by listening ears and watching eyes all my life."

* "She owes me some largesse after thinking me a featherhead for so long. Or at least, she believes she does and I am willing to trade on that to protect us."

* "It was real when so much of what we do is not. And it stripped away all pretense and forced us to look at the truth… which is that most of us could not make good on anything we claim. Women professing to power, who cannot feed their tenants or make a baby stay in their wombs. Men boasting of strength, who cannot kill and shy from bloodshed. Lord Nase Galare never played our game. He didn’t respect our rules… or… no. He did, but they were the rules we have long since stopped believing in. He forced us to confront our hypocrisy. It did not go over well."

* "I never overindu--cousin, really! You want me to... to what, exactly? Fly around with you across the country, handing chickens to the impoverished?"
:"Yes?"
:Lili paused. "I have never picked up a chicken."
:"Have you even seen one?"
:A long pause. "I have seen a duck?"

* "I will weed with you, cousin, and even find it satisfying. But not in trousers."
“Your mother is an extremely competent woman. A harridan and a bigot, certainly, but her mother Avarise made sure of that.”

“My grandmother?” Sediryl asked, startled.

“Of whom you know nothing because your mother cut ties with her after marrying Haladir, and shortly thereafter Avarise died. A quick and unexpected death—some internal issue, we think. A stone that didn’t pass, mayhap. But Avarise was a harpy, and to survive her, your mother made herself crueler and harder. It was why Haladir married her, I believe. Because her brother begged him to shield her.”

And:

“I know,” Sediryl answered, and surprisingly she did. “She was following the programming her own mother coded into her, which was ridiculous because she’s not a dumb woman. Why couldn’t she see that the best revenge was to repudiate my grandmother’s legacy of coldness and abuse? By loving her own daughter?”
“Because no one taught her how,” Haladir murmured. “And I’m as responsible for that as anyone else. I didn’t love her. Even her brother, the only person who wanted to protect her, found her difficult. Who has ever shown your mother kindness?”

72.94.9.59: /* Minor */ Hope

The name given by the Eldritch to the period between the end of the Chatcaavan War and the beginning of the next conflict. This is both an in-canon term (used by the characters) and a meta term (used to group the books that take place during this period).

Canonical
Origin
A combination of the words 'fallow' (to lie unused/uncultivated for a period to restore) and 'tide' from the Old English (a point or portion of time, due time, period, season). The Eldritch constructed it so because they still use words like 'eventide'.

Notes here about what the characters have said about this period; who began it? Who decreed it? Who was the first to use the word? Someone did.
Events
Probably should draw out a timeline here. (Also, look up the one you did for Surela's books; Surela's activities fall into this period as well, most of them.)

Major
Major events of the Fallowtide include:
* wedding of the imperial heir, Sediryl, to Jahir Seni Galare
* investiture of Sediryl Galare
* formation of the Eldritch Navy
* establishment of several mining concerns in the asteroid belt
* establishment of an allied military base with the Chatcaava
* establishment of Faulfenzair embassy on Escutcheon (should list this somewhere, and detail the people assigned there)
* first state visit of the imperial heir to Chalice

Note the major events that happen among the Chatcaava as well.

Minor
* Weddings: Kirthander and Jusinel (on the Chatcaavan Throneworld); Jeasa Seni Galare and Haladir Delen Galare; KindlesFlame and a Girl I'm Not Revealing Yet Because That's a Holiday Story
* Births: Hope, daughter of Emperor Kauvauc Ueneuvin and the Queen Ransomed; Vasiht'h's kits Evan, Thauvi, and Anoc; Imperial heirs Raenor Galare and Adaise Galare; Nase heir Aeremina Nase Galare; Imthereli's heirs Kolvin Lauvet Imthereli and Niriel Lauvet Imthereli; Reese's firstborn (unnamed)
* Adoptions: Kirthander Osin Asaniefa into Imthereli; Tolden Tera Thavelfin into Imthereli; Guardkin Madoc, to Kirthander Nanech
* Deaths: Korval Keldi Imthereli and Malavi Nase Galare; Bethsaida Emil Galare
* Assignments: Urise to the world of Chalice; Belinor to the world of Chalice; Mina and Monty to Escutcheon Station; I believe Solysyrril's hold from Her Instruments also got assigned to Escutcheon Station

72.94.9.59: /* Minor */

* investiture of Sediryl Galare

* Births: Vasiht'h's kits Evan, Thauvi, and Anoc; Imperial heirs Raenor Galare and Adaise Galare; Nase heir Aeremina Nase Galare; Imthereli's heirs Kolvin Lauvet Imthereli and Niriel Lauvet Imthereli; Reese's firstborn (unnamed)

Other
* Sediryl's tutelage with the Faulfenza shifts when Paudii joins Auniira as teacher of the use of the Mindfire.
