It is 11 days (normally 16 but the [[TMS Earthrise]]'s engines were retrofitted 6 years ago) from [[Starbase Fos]] to [[Inu-case]] (through [[Sector Epta]] and most of [[Andeka]]). <ref>Earthrise Part One</ref>

From there they went at high speed to [[Starbase Kappa]]. The crew of the [[TMS Earthrise]] were on [[Starbase Kappa]] about 9 days. Reese was in the Mediplex for 2 days, and then about a week to repair the well drive. <ref>Earthrise Part Two</ref>

They were on [[Harat-Sharii]] for nearly 2 months (a month and a half plus 1 and a half weeks) in Earthrise. <ref>Earthrise Part Three</ref>

It takes about 3 weeks for the [[TMS Earthrise]] to get from [[Starbase Kappa]] to [[Sector Tau]]. <ref>Earthrise Part Three</ref>

The hair dangle was made as a gift from the crew of the [[TMS Earthrise]], and included something from all of them - a bell from [[Kis'eh't]]'s prayer blanket, a temple token from [[Bryer]], [[Allacazam]] sat on it, and [[Reese]] included a bead she had worn in her hair from the eucalyptus tree she'd grown up with on Mars. [[Irine]] and [[Sascha]] put it together, and Irine included a lockpick (it turned out to be a very useful gift). Kis'eh't also synthesized small glass beads for it.
