==Biology==
Glaseah were created by the first and second generation Pelted, rather than by humanity. This was a highly controversial decision, but some Pelted saw the good intents of Project Homefront and wanted to improve upon it.

Glaseah are centauroid, leonine, short, and stocky, with most not being taller than 5'4". They are always skunk-patterned (either striped or spotted) and are brown, black, or gray pelted; golden Glaseah have been seen but are very rare. They have paws with retractable claws, four fingers, feathered ears (with fairly poor hearing), and wings similar to bats which cannot support their weight for flight. Some may be born without wings and are known as sef-Glaseah.

Most Glaseah are espers, being able to read minds and communicate mentally. Almost all Glaseah are calm, compassionate, and family-oriented, and can live over 200 years. Many become teachers or scientists due to their level-headed natures.

Most Glaseah are asexual, due to a greatly reduced amount of hormone levels. This has resulted in the Glaseah seeing reproduction as a duty of their people, and often requiring either religiously-trained individuals or technology to assist in the process. Many families have 15 or more children

Most Glaseah worship the Mother, Aksivaht'h, who is said to have thought the universe into life. Aksivaht'h represents both male and female, but is most often called the Goddess.

==Biology==
The Asanii are a Pelted race that developed during Exodus, based mainly on their physical, political, and career-based characteristics. Those who became Asanii were the taller (often over 5'7") and more humanoid-appearing Karaka'A. Asanii are often born without fur, though may carry domestic cat pelt patterns in their skin. They have five fingers on each hand and five toes per plantigrade foot, each with nails rather than claws. They tend to have flat faces or demi-muzzles and generally have dull teeth like humans. They have feline tails.

The Asanii have significant issues reproducing without scientific assistance.

==Politics==
Generally, the Asanii want to remember how they were created and honor that history, rather than focus on the elements of that history such as their initial enslavement. They are highly adaptable and are found everywhere in the Alliance, in all types of environments and jobs.

==Religion==
The Asanii religion emphasizes the polarities of life and the ability to move between them. The concept of the sun and moon plays strongly in this.

==End of Year Celebrations==
===The Solstice Vigil===
Shortest day of the year, also known as "Longest Night". A carryover from landing, the darkest night of the year proved to be the most dangerous, as they were frequently hunted by the predators of the planet. Men would stay outside to guard the homes (male guards and servants as well, for larger homes). Over time, as the creatures were hunted and buildings became more secure, the Solstice Vigil became more symbolic of protection and sacrifice.

Current tradition includes men gathering in the local chapels to keep the Vigil together until midnight, mulling "gentleman's punch", a strong drink typically not consumed by women. The men then return to their houses to wait for the dawn with their families and partake of food and warm beverages. Once the men return home, gifts are exchanged among the family.

Women remain in the houses, in the past they would wait in the houses with candles, and often sing if there were several women waiting together. Several traditional songs exist, but usually need at least ten participants to sound right. Currently, women pass the time playing board games and consume mulled cider and pastries.

There is also the tradition of The Stranger - if someone unexpected arrives, they are welcomed into the home and offered the first of the food and drink (but usually do not receive gifts, as they were unexpected).

A candle is lit daily, from the Vigil to the New Year's Feast.

Occurring a week after the Solstice Vigil, Lady's Day is when the lady of the House visits the largest town in her province in a carriage, carrying gifts for her people. Generally, these gifts are more symbolic, especially in larger towns where providing a gift for every person would be more challenging. Some traditional gifts include:
* Candy thrown from the carriage for children
* Money for the keeping of the town
* Logs, to promise providing warmth for the people
* Fruit to symbolize keeping her people fed
* Seeds to symbolize fertility
* Jisiensire provides horseshoes to symbolize wealth

After the gift-giving, the lady celebrates mass in the town's church (called Ladymass), in which the lady gives thanks for the gifts from the Goddess.

===New Year's===
A fest hosted at the castle, celebrating the past year and coming successes. All people of the province are invited, and often bring symbolic gifts to the Lady. There is much celebration, including dancing (more like line or square dancing, this "country" dancing involves someone standing on a pedestal calling out the dancing pattern of the moment). The main fire is allowed to go out this day.
