History
The Jisienisire House has always enjoyed a rare closeness with the royal House.[2]
Talk here about their relationship with Sellelvi and the pards.
Talk here about Lesandural and the Tams.
Talk here about Hirianthial's parents, and then the scandal with Baniel and their deaths, and then his giving the seal to Araelis and leaving.
The Razing of Jisiensire
During the coup, Surela sent Athanesin (at his request) to Jisiensire province to secure their allegiance. Athanesin, unable to coerce Ceredan (holding the province in his wife's absence) to bend the knee, put Jisiensire to the torch, destroying the manor. Araelis says to Surela: "You sent your pet monster to the task and he did well enough. Do you think I would not put the blame on your shoulders? Particularly since he used the Pads your pirate friends brought with them? You ordered them slaughtered like kine! Every one of them! They’ve fired even the tenants’ cottages!"[3]
And later, about the house: "My own baby’s father dead in the fire-gutted estate that has housed Jisiensire since the end of Jerisa’s reign."[3]
No survivors were found at the Jisiensire country seat, or at the two villages razed by Athanesin[4]. Some survivors are implied later when Hirianthial reports to Liolesa.[5]
For his crime, Liolesa sentenced Athanesin to death, and Hirianthial carried it out.[6]
