Stuff here on Crimes in the Alliance
International
These are crimes that are perpetrated across national borders (so between the Alliance and other empires, or rogue states).
Raiding
- The Chatcaavan Empire breaks border treaties and raids colonies for resources when it suits them. These operations are coordinated by Third and his Hand at the behest of the Emperor, and were one of Lisinthir Nase Galare's
Fur Trade
Trade in the skins/furs of sapient and intelligent beings. Kamaney Foster was a prominent trader in furs.
Slave Trade
Chatcaavan slave trade:
- Chatcaava acquire Alliance slaves when they can, but many of their slaves are not obtained by the Chatcaava directly but by purchasing or otherwise acquiring them from independent pirates.[1]
- Many male slaves are interrogated and then killed, while females and interesting or pretty males are kept as slaves in the Imperial Harem.[1]
Internal
D-per laws
- Forbade a D-per from some actions
- Amended after the Sargasso incident.
Illegal Technology
- It is illegal to build autonomous robots (in the sense of capable of autonomous action).[2]
Illegal Weapons
- Claw-knives are banned across most of the Alliance, as the early Pelted did not want to grant their own natural weaponry to humans.[1]
Identity Theft
Data Falsification
