• Pruscha (plural: pruschani)
  • The pruscha sect, found in the feudal mountain domains on Hinichitii, believed that an earlier sect called the Berena attempted to selectively breed Hinichi until they were humans, in order to become like the messiah. They considered this a horrifying sin of pride.
  • Children who had flat, human-like faces and lacked fur were exposed to the elements to die.

• Sathet
  • The *sathet* are a sect found in the feudal mountain domains on Hinichitii in direct contrast with the *pruschani*. They are considerably more accepting of the outside world and variation in Pelted body types.

    • Jared and Geneviive Dahrengard. As a child, Jared rescued his sister Noelle, who had been left by their father to die in the wilderness as an infant

Imagery

• Hinichi Christian imagery shows Mary Mother of God with a pawprint medallion or with a four-legged wolf at her feet; human Christian imagery does not.
• Hinichi are more likely to use the terms 'Jesus-Martyr' and 'Jesus-Cleanser of the Temples' to describe the different aspects of Jesus.
• Jesus is a card in the human-religion expansion of the game Pantheon.

A holiday originating in Christianity on Terra, and heavily adopted by Hinichi Christianity.

History

Christmas Trees

A holiday tradition involving bringing a tree indoors and decorating it. Originated among some humans; the tradition was taken with the Pelted during the Exodus and kept alive by Hinichi. Among humans, the tradition died out except in some pockets on the moon colony, but was retained by the Hinichi. Hinichi decorate their trees with paper prayers, whereas humans use glass balls, toys, and food such as popcorn.

Appearances:

• An enormous holiday tree made from a thornfir, encountered by Alysha Forrest and Terrell Shirrelberry in the Heliocentrus Galleria with an unfortunate Malarai youth named Kessi stuck to it.
• A paw fir gifted to Jahir and Vasiht'h, and gradually decorated via gifts from their current and former clients.
