Captain of the UAV Quicklance, a Fleet courier with a crew of 20. Raynor was part of the Terran Space Navy who transferred to the Fleet in the hopes of encouraging it to a more active stance against the Chatcaavans.[2]
Jahir remembers his given name as Max [3]. Jahir and Sediryl's son Raenor is named for Captain Raynor.
