She was one of the four harem members used to distract Third and Third's Hand in Even the Wingless, along with Moon, Black Rose, and Sun's Kindness, due in part to her enjoyment of pain. The Mother selected her, and the Queen appealed to her pride by noting that only the most enticing females could do the duty she asked of them. She was stationed in the harem and distracted Third's Hand, and was witness to Sun's Kindness's death.[2]
