Tolden's friend. (From Jubilee Summer somewhere.) Sadly misspelled in the text as Danireth.
Physical Characteristics
Has blue-green eyes.
Biography
Another of Tolden's friends from the chimera hunt party. The resigned/practical one of the lot. [1] Was part of the combined Chatcaavan/Eldritch hunting party that chased down the chimera/basilisks in Imthereli; at the conclusion of that smugly opined that swords were as useful as talons, but thought that the Chatcaava's wings, and the ability to fly, must be amazing. [2]
Family
The Shoril family is not the ruling family of the Thavelfin House.
- Parents are Lorinfor Keti Thavelfin and Kelvari Shoril Thavelfin.
- Maternal grandparents are Netoran Sara Mathanith and Darisil Shoril Thavelfin.
- Paternal grandparents are Tandeneth Dova Ulurith and Felinora Keti Thavelfin.
Darineth's mother, not in love with the bickering she often saw in other Thavelfin family gatherings thanks to the intermarriage with opposing political factions, stubbornly chose a man out of her own house to marry. They were not in love, but they were both in agreement that they hated conflict and wanted a peaceful and happy home... and though they remain only good friends and not very convincing lovers (in the romantic sense), they did, in fact, create a very peaceful home. Their practicality stuck with their son, who saw the harmony of their home and thought he could do much worse than to emulate them.
Quotes
Trivia
- The Chatcaavan court, via the Twelveworld Lord, at first awards him the title of "the Climber", but eventually replaces that with "the Racer": "who would crash an aircar into a wall without a second thought if only he might secure a win." [3]
