Father of Lisinthir Nase Galare.

Physical Characteristics

Animated by rage; the few lines creasing his mouth and brow are frustration, not age.[1] Eyes are paler than Lisinthir's. Voice is similar in timbre to his son's, but deeper, with a more pronounced drawl. Larger body than his son's, with longer arms and legs, but not as quick.[2]

Biography

Married to Malavi Nase Galare. Last remaining Imthereli until Lisinthir restored the family as Lauvet Imthereli. Lost the Imthereli lands to Asaniefa and Galare after the family dwindled and he chose to marry for wealth rather than work to re-establish House Imthereli.

Seldom appears at court, preferring to shut himself away in Nase Galare to train with his swordmaster.[3]

He strangled his wife in her bed shortly after the birth of their daughter.[4] He was killed in a mostly-secret dawn duel at Ontine by Tolden Tera Thavelfin.[2] (He almost won that duel, as he was the more experienced fighter)

Quotes

  • "You'd have me believe you are bereft of ambition. I'm not stupid, boy. This little lodge of yours is all your mother has to give you, and you know as well as I do that hunting for pelts isn't going to earn you an estate big enough for your tastes. Don't try to tell me you'd be happy here for the next thousand years." [1]
  • "Go to court and choose a girl who will let you run your own household... or find some rich family who'll pay your mother a fat sum to put you in their daughter's bed, and under their thumbs. Your choice."[1]

Trivia

  • Uses two swords.[2]
  • Tolden concludes during their duel that "the man likes to talk".[2]
