Woofy snoots and waggy tails.

True Dogs

Domestic Terran canines, frequently kept as pets by humans, but almost never by Pelted.

  • Trusty, Allen Tiber's first dog, a large male German shepherd with a dark coat, pointed ears, and gray brindling on his muzzle.
  • Sarah, Allen Tiber's second dog, a smaller female golden retriever with a long golden coat, abandoned by her first owner.
  • Goldie, Rayne's marshound (acquired because her adopted children, Jomo, Patrick, and Ria wanted one)[1]
  • Chief, Janny Perralta's dog

Solidigraphic Dogs

Artificial companions created using solidigraphic technology.

  • Bells and Whistles, Sediryl's solidigraphic dog. Designed by Hyera for Sediryl, its fur is a kaleidoscope of riotous colors that shed glitter when it moves. It is also accompanied by a school of tiny orange and white fish, which drift around it "like a piscine halo." [2] When the fish move, they make a very faint breathy whistling sound.

Guardkin

Though dogs in several meaningful ways, the Guardkin are fully sapient and capable of communication with touch-telepaths.
