Algae, or Al, is Platy character in the navigation section of the UAV Songlance.
Physical Characteristics
Al is dark green with an irridescent edge.[1] When Alysha Forrest first met it on the Songlance, it was a small, female Platy, but over the duration of her stay, Hood chose it to catalyze into a larger male; as Algae grew, it changed from an even velvety dark green to a splotchy pattern of lighter green and mottled black.[2]
