Physical Characteristics

A human man--tall, with a spare build that indicated considerable exercise. He had blond hair trimemd short enough to reveal the curve of his skull, and a mustache, and a short beard, as well as "complicated" gray-green. Taylitha recognized the calluses on his hands as indicative of swordplay, as she had similar calluses.

Biography

Avram Hancock grew up somewhere in the Sol System. At some point he did training in orbit around Mars.

Avram won the Le Ceau Tournament with variable holoblade, though it was a "near thing", in 450.

Avram Hancock was later assigned as admin and station commander of Cat's Eye Station 40. He met Taylitha Basil when the UAV Stardancer came through to resupply them and map the area. He was immediately interested when he learned that she had won the Le Ceau Tournament in 455, as he had won it himself in 450, and invited Taylitha to spar. He and Taylitha sparred, matching one another in skill for an hour (Taylitha felt that he was more of a challenge than her Le Ceau bout), until Taylitha stumbled and Avram caught her. He then asked her to dinner, and she accepted.

Avram made Taylitha his mother's tortellini and they had a long conversation over dinner, that led to a debate on Harat-Shariin schools of swordplay; Avram argued that while the Kharentkeri school could be overly predictable, other schools such as Jezherel's were not. He and Taylitha dueled in the Jezherel style, resulting in a kiss, but after the kiss Taylitha broke away and told Avram that she wasn't comfortable being intimate with a human in that way. He was disappointed, but assured her that he had had a wonderful evening and bid her a good night.

• His mother made a tortellini and red sauce dish that he remembered fondly enough to program into the genie (he scanned it twelve times to include some variation in the recipe so that it wouldn't be identical each time).
• Owns a limited edition Opus print, remarqued in gold foil, with a reproduction of Joseph Shandlin's signature and a lock of a synthesized reproduction of Holly's hair.
• Admires Holly.
• Shares the same philosophy of sword-fighting, and taste in books, movies, and 3deos as Taylitha Basil.
• Unlike many non-Harat-Shar, has no issue incorporating the full range of (lascivious) movements into his use of the Jezherel style.
• Drinks his coffee very strong and black.
