Liolesa's new, larger personal vessel, purchased by Maia after the events of the Chatcaavan War. An armed yacht, converted from a mothballed Fleet vessel.
History
Maia found the Peacemaker hiding in the inventory of a contractor who converted mothballed Fleet vessels into private yachts. Armed yachts in the Alliance were usually built to civilian standards and then outfitted with weapons after the fact. Unlike the Peacemaker, they don't have a warship’s hull, shielding, engines; or the redundancy and overbuilding the typical Fleet ship accepted as necessary and acceptable.
Until the war, the Peacemaker's contractor had more inventory than places to dock it, and had been considering selling everything off at cost and going into a more lucrative business; this enabled Maia to pick up the Peacemaker for far cheaper than she'd hoped, even after telling the contractor to stick with his business for the few months it would take for the Pelted to shake off their numbness and take security more seriously.[1]
