These are crimes that are perpetrated across national borders (so between the Alliance and other empires, or rogue states).

Raiding

Fur Trade

Slave Trade

Chatcaavan slave trade:

  • Chatcaava acquire Alliance slaves when they can, but many of their slaves are not obtained by the Chatcaava directly but by purchasing or otherwise acquiring them from independent pirates.[1]
  • Many male slaves are interrogated and then killed, while females and interesting or pretty males are kept as slaves in the Imperial Harem.[1]

Internal

Illegal Technology

  • It is illegal to build autonomous robots (in the sense of capable of autonomous action).[2]

Illegal Weapons

  • Claw-knives are banned across most of the Alliance, as the early Pelted did not want to grant their own natural weaponry to humans.[1]

Identity Theft

Data Falsification

Controlled/Illegal Substances

  • Wet, a highly addictive substance which causes brains to destroy themselves
  • Hekkret, a barbiturate (and poison) originally from the Chatcaavan Empire[1]
