Types
- Trees
- Evergreens, present on both Quickwater Reserve[1] and Gledig[2]
- Paw fir, a tree native to Hinichitii that is often used as a Christmas tree. Named for its very soft needles, like the fur that grows between paw-toes. This was the tree type gifted to Jahir and Vasiht'h by a Hinichi client when they were working on Starbase Veta.[3]
- Thornfir, an extremely prickly tree native to Hinichitii. The branches are covered in thick spikes made of bark, and thinner and more dangerous thorns capable of drawing blood. The needles are soft. This was the type of tree that a young Malarai boy got stuck in in "Season's Meaning."[4]
- Other plants
- Caralberries are on Aren planet
- Kendrage, an edible plant with shiny green leaves[5]
- Lilies of various sorts, present in the Alliance (on, at minimum, Harat-Sharii[6], Tsera Nova[7], and Escutcheon[8], and probably others), and in the Chatcaavan Empire[9]
- Pearl-poppies[1]
- Winter Roses
- Firebird trumpets, a flower with a brilliant scarlet hue and whose buds can be processed into synthetic hormones for Karaka'An.[10]
