Blurb

What lessons will she take away from a mission gone awry?

Alysha visiting Phoenix-Nest during "Leadership Lessons"

"Leadership Lessons" is a short set in the Stardancer series of the Peltedverse. Warning: contains vertiginous descriptions of heights, lots of banter, and a thoughtful heroine doing her best by the people around her.

Summary

Alysha Forrest arrives on the planet that has high platforms. Her supervisor (Vera, see that entry for more notes on this story) finds that Vera can not function in such an environment. Alysha suggests that Vera tag herself as down and tell A to take over as a training exercise for A. Vera does so, A does good, and in a later meeting between A and super's super (Shirrelberry) defends Vera. Vera (off screen and later) gets training to deal with fears. Vera thanks AF for helping her, and signs up for a parachute jump as test of correction.
