Recent History

Admiral Laphylinrii is the Fleet officer who gives Alysha Forrest her assignment to investigate the civil war on Gledig and search for the missing Svetlana Karishenikov. After Alysha has resolved things on Gledig, Laphylinrii assists Alysha in approving the reinstatement of Svetlana (minus a rank), by accepting, with some amusement, Alysha's deliberately paper-thin excuse for Svetlana's absence.

Trivia

• Laphylinrii is aware of Alysha's "habit of rehabilitating people," and, though Alysha seems surprised that this is known of her, it seems that this may be a relatively well-known trait of hers.

Body Language

Ordinarily, Laphylinrii has "a natural cheer that [makes] her mannerisms seem to effervesce;" as of Sword of the Alliance, she seems gaunt and tired.
