Queen's Tam from Girl on Fire.
Appearance and Personality
A smooth, flat face, silver fur, ash-gray hair coiffed into a bob framing a pointed chin. Silver, white and gray tail. [1]
Like all Tams, discreet, and very serious about her oath to the Queen and the Veil.[2] A natural teacher.
Biography
Familiar with Fassiana, and the terrain around Delen Galare.[1] Aware of procedure for Eldritch living the homeworld, including the orientation.[2]
Can pilot landcraft and spacecraft.
Briana was responsible for ushering Sediryl off-world for the first time (on the QTS Sydnie Founder)[3], at the request of Fassiana Delen Galare. Sediryl's first ride in a modern vehicle (a jay) took place with Briana at the helm (and Briana kindly talked her through some of the features of her ride). When Sediryl thanks her and says she's been very kind, she answers, "And you’ve been very courteous. Not everyone takes their first sight of an alien with such aplomb."[2] Briana was also the one who gave Sediryl advice on how to conduct herself in the Alliance, and how to keep the Veil among people eager to know more about her. It is evident this was a duty she did for more than one Eldritch: "“I can’t say I understand, but I’ve seen a few Eldritch come through by now and while none of them have been pleased at how much they had to learn, I have yet to meet one as… handicapped… as you have been."[4]
She is not the only Tam who runs the route from Starbase Ana to Escutcheon.[5]
