Taylitha and the Small One

A Small One, the last of its kind and one of the two sentient races of Amity.

Physical Characteristics

As a Small One, it has a pointed, wedge-shaped head with large dark eyes, six limbs, an extremely flexible spine, and communicates via hisses, whistles, peeps, and trills. Its scent is reminiscent of warm pepper.

Recent History

The Small One was first encountered by Taylitha Basil, who noticed it watching her in the dark. She tried to communicate with it, and it with her, but she startled it and it fled. Taylitha and a crew of assistants pursued it and cornered it in a gully, but it escaped by climbing the rock walls, a feat they did not expect it capable of. Later, however, it approached Taylitha again, tried to speak to her, and then collapsed.
