Biography

She is certified in emotional recovery processes as a counselor, and volunteered at an indentured servants' counseling group, training people how to handle contracts they find distasteful. One of the things she taught was preventative disassociation. [1] She is also competent at calisthenics.

After her rescue, ran sessions for the refugees onboard the Silhouette with FIA Hold 22.

Quotes

  • /You’re here to rescue us. You’re mysterious. Your touch in my mind is full of all sorts of interesting hints of things: smells and tastes and sounds I can almost make sense of. But no violence in you at all./[1]
  • /Then,/ she answered, /You lie back and we’ll show them what the Sword, who ‘treats his slaves well’ can accomplish with honey and kind words./[1]
  • "It’s not that pleasure isn’t work... it’s that you don’t notice how much work it is until much later."[1]
  • "That we’re off to war? It’s hard not to draw the conclusion when a Special Forces team is sneaking around enemy territory with the Emperor of the Chatcaava and nationals from a foreign ally. Of course, we’re also one very small ship, with almost no people on board to speak of, sailing around an enemy empire at least twice the Alliance’s size. So the likelihood of us doing anything useful seems…remote, we’ll say."[3]
  • "...But in my culture, all important rituals are conducted nude. We come nude from our mother's wombs. We wed naked. We are buried naked, and the mourners who weep over our empty shells do so nude. This is ritual. I come to it naked, as the angels made me."[2]

Trivia

  • understands Chatcaavan better than she speaks it (at the time of the Insurrection). [2]
