Crown Jewels
Crowns are reserved for those in direct line to the throne, and are made to a specific design, different from the circles and decorative ferronieres worn by other Eldritch nobles. [1]
- Empress's: A narrow coronet of diamonds and sapphires, with a rim of pearls, set in platinum.
- Heir's Coronet: Diamonds, pearls, and opals set in rose gold, in the same squared-off abstracted design as the Empress's crown... just shorter and with fewer flourishes.
- Heir's Parure: matching gems for throat, ears, wrists, shoulders.
- Consort's Coronet: a narrow platinum band with dove gray pearls, sapphires and a few diamonds. (This is new, and was made for Jahir).
House Jewels
The gemstones of significant character that have been with the Eldritch since Settlement, or before, are named. Each House has its own trove, and the principals of the family may bestow those gems where they will, though they rarely do. [2]
- Dolorith Opal: a thumbs-length tawny fire opal with play-of-color in splashes of red and green (currently set in a fillet with two cabochon rubies, and in Laisrathera's treasury).
=Sigils
History here, with the medallions that became the amulets rampant, which has its own page.
Heads of Household can have personal emblems that they have incised on the backs of medallions they hand out to special vassals.[3]
Weapons

- Starfarer - forged on Terra before the Eldritch exodus, at the direction of Teldor Jesa Galare. Stored in the Vaults of Ontine until given to Haladir Delen Galare when he was named the First Courser Lord by Liolesa. [4]
Sword of State
"That sword was forged during Jerisa's reign, after her crowning, specifically for her champion to carry. At that time, tha twas its foremost purpose: it was a weapon designed to be wielded by a hunter, not on the fields of our estates, but on the field of honor, and such is symbolic of royal power." Said by Liolesa to Haladir Delen [5]
"The Sword of State is an Eldritch weapon, forged on Eldritch soil and meant for Eldritch throats." [5]
The Sword of State looked like Jahir's family set, "but more: more length, more hilt, more gems, more everything." The hilt is wrapped in leather cords.[6] It's heavier than modern Eldritch weapons, since it was used to hew monsters as well as in duels; monster extinction led to foils and lighter weapons being more popular, since they were more appropriate for the dueling field.
Other
- China - most of the porcelain diningware used by the various Eldritch noble houses are heirlooms brought directly from Earth, where they were originally commissioned. Additional sets, such as those common to Liolesa's various personal vessels, were procured for her by Lesandurel on Earth, from the same porcelain manufacturer the originals came from.
Investiture Gifts
