History

The Glaseah were engineered and planted on Anseahla in 32 BA, three years after the seeding of Ciracaa and 11 years before Phoenix-Nest.

The first university is at Tabula Rasa: "The Pelted who'd been preparing to plant the Glaseah on their 'homeworld' had sculpted ruins on the lush equatorial mountain slopes to suggest a prehistoric culture... but the nascent race, having plucked their true origins out of their creators' minds, had decided that those ruins made an excellent site for a city built around a university. [...] They considered it a form of homage, and maybe good-natured teasing, to set their scholars there first... and had named the resulting settlement Tabula Rasa."

Landmarks

University

• Tabula Rasa: "The various buildings had been excavated from the rock, transforming the cliffs into tall dwellings with ramps leading to plazas on plateaus [...] And everywhere, [...] dozens of waterfalls of various sizes splashed down those cliffs into basins, where they pooled before they continued their trek down the mountain. Standing at a balcony, [one could look] down onto the tops of towering rainforest behemoths, and birds darted across the rainbows scattered by those plunging watercourses. [...A] building [...] curved around one of those precipitous drops and glassed in all the walls facing it, the better to emphasize the panorama. In keeping with the personality of the Glaseah, however, those vistas were buttressed by cozy offices in dark stone and wood."

Temples

The four major temples (siv'ts) on Anseahla are Thought, Breath, Words, and Acts. "Usually genetic material is held at the Breath facility, where we have the lab and most of the crèches, and requests from local siv'ts are routed to them." See also: Temple Kits This is the temple where Vasiht'h received his kits. There is a large open-air market in a field near the temple; both shoppers and sellers are mostly Glaseah, but it is also a tourist draw, known for handmade goods and food shops.

Acts is the temple that new siv'ts are dispatched from when they are intended for other worlds. Professor Hannah Sirensbie says that it is on the other side of the world from the university at Tabula Rasa.
