Darian Bakawar
The captain of the UAV Cometfencer during Beringwaite's tenure as First Commander.
Appearance and Personality
A Seersa male, creamy yellow-colored with dark orange eyes. Tall for a Nominal A at 5'3". Amused and calm, and under that, extremely analytical. Supremely calm under pressure, as was tested in multiple battles with pirates. Becomes more courteous under pressure/upset.
Mike observes: "Bakawar was complex and balanced and lingered on the palette" [like the Sazerac he's drinking], while his exec [Mike], "was a punch in the gut. Sometimes an expensive one."[1]
Biography
Born in 413 BA. Started out as a lawyer working the business area between Fleet and Fleet's civilian contractors; got interested in Fleet that way and went to the Academe at the age of 34, did his two years of Fleet-specific education there, and ended up in the Tactical track. Picked up electives in military law on his way, and has kept up his law license (specific to Selnor). Made it to captain in 17 years, and took command of the Cometfencer at the age of 52.
He was absent for the pirate activity during the captain's retreat, during which the Cometfencer lost crew, and this bothers him.
