Mage Orders

Formal occasions require the donning of the sash as regalia. The sash is worn on the diagonal from shoulder to waist, and then wrapped around the waist. There are two cords following the diagonal, and ash and cords are pinned at the shoulder with a badge of a helical sword set on a net of stars. The sash drapes to the knee.

Knights of the Red

"Four offensive mages we have inducted into our knightly order." (Said by Hirianthial just before inducting Jahir and then Sediryl.)

• War Mages (Black) - red sash with black ends - the current members of this order are Urise Path Jesa, Val, Lisinthir, and Hirianthial.
• Fire Mages (Red) - red sash with orange ends, with silver cords - the current member of this order is Sediryl.

Knights of the Blue

"You are the first healing mage we have known. While your other talents are documented in Church archives, in no annal is there recorded evidence of someone who can use his ability to assist in surgery, or sing healing into a disordered mind. It strikes us as appropriate to name you as the first Knight of the Blue, for it is to males of our station that we turn to for defense... and you have proven yourself in that quarter, in war, and in the operating theaters of hospitals across worlds."
