Primary Resort

The resort's intake area is a security outpost disguised as an airy lookout with large windows. It has a commanding view of the resort, which is arranged in the center of a lake on a series of small connected islands, with dozens of bungalows covered in climbing vines and flowers. These are built on the tiny islands, which are connected by bridges to a central island, larger than the others, with the conference center, amphitheater, restaurants and a coffee shop, clubhouse and rental offices for swimming and boating gear. The smaller conference rooms are disguised as charmingly distressed sheds. This property was manmade--the lake did not have islands on it.

Most of the cottages have a central bathroom and lobby and two or three personal rooms off the core. Some are one or two person cabins, though. These cabins attempt to look rusticated but are too polished to bring it off: wooden floors, soft rugs in front of a fireplace, beds with patchwork quilts (soft because of its materials, chosen via genie, not from age or frequent washing).

The climate in this area is warm with cool breezes and infrequent rain. There are birds (alien ones, obv). Also fireflies, or things that look/act like them.

The bar is partially underground and accessed by a path leading to a hummock. The door is the round wooden lid of a cask. There are two levels, one with a deck overlooking the water and one beneath it with a window looking underwater at various fish and swimming mammals/diving birds. The landscaping is very Thomas Kinkade-Painter-of-Lighty.

Some Random Hotel

The only hotel that offers Fleet discounts (weirdly, since at the time there's almost no development in this sector, so a lot of the traffic is going to be Fleet related?). Lobby is constructed from black stone veined with gold and crystallized white, with contrasting columns in creamy quartz. The ceiling is a mosaic starmap of the Alliance, with Thaka Epta, the sector, outlined in dark bronze against black tiles.

The bar is staffed by men and women in tuxedos, has dim lighting and tables as well as the bar counter.
