Geography and Architecture

One of the smaller cities large enough to qualify for the name. Only the fact that the Worlddancer’s place of meeting was sited in Oolen made it of any interest at all.

Notable Landmarks

• Place-of-Meeting: Small, intentionally so. The WorldDancer’s work involved offering an outsider’s perspective on grievances that local authorities found too difficult to resolve on their own, usually those involving other communities. The site where she listened to these cases was intended for meetings and retreats, which was why it had been built in Oolen, one of the most clement parts of the planet. The weather allows for open air pavilions that extend from the building in the four cardinal directions, with the modest central hall used as a thoroughfare. There are skylights, and the gallery lining the cupola probably leads to the few offices used by any administrators the WorldDancer needed as aides.
