Layout
From the front, faced with sculptured gardens, with glass doors leading into the lobby, a tall room. The style is clean with broad spaces, and the lobby is painted with a soothing aquamarine mural with sea turtles, bright fish, and other streamlined aquatic creatures, all smiling.[1]
Has both lifts and stairs; the stairwells are broad and well lit, with large windows.
The first floor also has extensive gardens for both patients and visitors (and staff); these are located near the chapel. These gardens include a fish pond with benches for sitting nearby. [2]
Procedures

- staff working shifts of over 8 hours are required to sleep at least 45 minutes in one of the rooms designed for them to nap. These rooms are hidden behind the visitor centers, operating theaters, and patient care rooms, and are dimly lit, usually with small fountains (that double as drinking fountains), and have sculpted cubbies with a bunk large enough for the typical Pelted. There are also nests along the back wall, and a few cubbies that have no beds, but collections of pillows on an elevated floor. Some soothing essential oil will be perfuming the air, like lavender.
