(speculation) The timing (and IIRC Zafiil's prophecy) seems to say that he will be alive when the fourth messiah arrives. Beyond that is wild speculation,as the fourth (Joke: will bring the alliance idea of 4 people card games to the shoulders) could be anyone, so long as they are for the most part unexpected. And maybe he will be the Voice of two Messiahs, granting his experience to the position.
