When did Fasianyl get her D-per companion, and how long have they been surveying together?
- Given that the D-per project didn't begin until 317 BA, and code-debt wasn't abolished until 438 BA, it seems that Fasianyl has to have spent at least a century and a half cartographing alone: there simply wouldn't have been a D-per available to go with her any earlier.
In the Biography of this page it states “Following Sellelvi's death, took up cataloging star systems on a survey vessel (alone, except for a D-per, who is ex-Special Forces).”
In the timeline, it says “After Sellelvi died in 281 BA, she did not return to Escutcheon, but used her stipend to purchase a ship and take up a job as a freelance star cartographer.”
Given the information from "In Good Company", in 414 BA, D-pers were banned from serving on ships. In Good Company takes place sometime after 470 BA, and the ban was still in place.
Was Maia (manumitted in 461, hired by Liolesa around 471) the first D-per allowed to accompany a pilot on a ship?
- It's pointed out somewhere that the Alliance's rule doesn't technically apply to an Eldritch ship.
