Appearance and Personality
An older male in black, maroon and light gray, with orange eyes, he was known for his calm energy, and his seemingly endless capacity for work. It was a well-established jest, that he never slept, never needing it. [1]
Biography
Was a Faulfiirla himself before being elected to and accepting the post as the master of the Hearth's mission.
He arranged for Zafiil's solo mission to the Alliance after her return with the dead of the Laizafzafiir... this a decision he made in defiance of the WorldDancer and OverDancer's decision that the Slipstream be destroyed. "The day of our meeting in Oolen, I woke from a dream of you walking among the stars. I am no Eye of the God, and the dream certainly did not arrive with instructions or explanations. But I don't believe you were meant to stay here, Zafiil. And... the Faulfenza will need you. You know the Other language. You are already cognizant of their dangers, and can go wary into their lairs. If not you, we have no one to send. Will you consider it?"[2]

- Was master of the Hearth when Zafiil arrived there around 2431 (40 years prior to the formation of the Alliance)
- He had been a faulfiirla himself prior to accepting the post, which suggests he was in his late 200s, early 300s when he accepted the post.
- In 175 BA, when Zafiil discovers Akana Ris, he is in his 300s.
- This suggests by 311 BA, when the Faulfenza make their treaty with the Alliance, he is in his late 600s.
- He is still the Hearthmaster (though training his replacement) when he spearheads the development of the Faulfenzair prototype military ships and sends out the Willseeker as one of its first.
