Short Description

Alliance colony planet from the first era of colonization, after the discovery of the Well Drive. Located in Sector Tesera, and found and named by the Aera, it was nevertheless settled mostly by other Pelted races because the Aera kept moving. The clan that originally found Za'ara still sends a group every fifty ears, resulting in a festival called the Visitation. The lively disagreements between nomadic founders and stable settlers are staged--the events portrayed during them never happened--but it amuses both parties to pretend to having disagreed over the world's disposition and government. Though early colonization efforts were not as formalized as they are now, and did occasionally lead to issues, Za'ara's founding was not one of those contentious events, mostly because the Aera didn't want it.

The capital of the world is Roam, a mountain settlement.
