A Sojourner Class Scout captained by Baerut Flait. The Voidsong was assigned the duty of patrolling Sector Koph, including the colony Gledig,[1][2] approximately six years before the beginning of Sword of the Alliance.[3]

Pwyll Mansey and Kamaney Foster were in a sexual relationship while officers on the Voidsong; which was against regulations[4] as of the Terran overhaul of the manual,[5]. However, the true reason for their dismissal was a frame job by Baerut. Baerut had been taking bribes from Governor Kerenkev to ignore the issues on Gledig colony, and used Pwyll and Kamaney to take the fall.[6]
