This family appears to have begun in the fourth generation when Doriel Emil married Shalaver Jesa. Doriel, one of three siblings born of Besinir Jesa and an unnamed woman, is the sole Emil founder; her siblings were family Catha (which suggests the unnamed woman was a Catha founder). Doriel's sole issue at the time of the coup was Bethsaida.
