The resort's intake area is a security outpost disguised as an airy lookout with large windows. It has a commanding view of the resort, which is arranged in the center of a lake on a series of small connected islands, with dozens of bungalows covered in climbing vines and flowers. These are built on the tiny islands, which are connected by bridges to a central island, larger than the others, with the conference center, amphitheater, restaurants, clubhouse and rental offices for swimming and boating gear. This property was manmade--the lake did not have islands on it.[2]
