A tribe of homeworld nomad Ciracaana. Follow the totem Lifehawk.

The Lifehawk Tribe is a hunting tribe that follows the herds on Ciracaa. The Sun Mother serves as primary religious officiant as well as decision-maker for major tribal decisions.

Tribal Rituals

Rite of the Vessel

In the Rite of the Vessel, an individual is chosen by a totem. The individual selects a totem token randomly from a bag--if a particular token cuts them or otherwise makes itself known, that is an auspicious sign--and then is painted by a trained ritual painter. The individual is then ritually drugged with the Bones of the Elements, decorated, blindfolded, and brought to an isolated location. If they receive a tangible sign of the presence of the totem, they will be considered to have been accepted by it.
