Miltech and various differences in their tech go here.
Chatcaavan alert lights are yellow-green and waist height.
Communications
- call their network 'the skein'
- when sending messages to someone on an active duty ship, either the message would be received by a person's messaging system, or the ship takes the message for them. Not connecting at all shouldn't be possible. [1]
- Protocol and hierarchy in the Empire dictate the use of messengers for most message-sending, at least among the upper echelons of society and the Throneworld Court. Pragmatism permits the use of comms in emergencies and other matters of urgency.[2]
- Comms are activated by inserting claws into slots. Clawless species cannot use them.[2]
Transportation
- an equivalent to Pads[3]
- Chatcaavan Vessels
Medical Technology
See Chatcaavan Medicine for more information.
Everyday Stuff
- teethbrooms (used to clean)
- gel-tanks (medical, used for short-term healing.)
- use slots for their talons to unlock interfaces
- also claw and grab things to move them around (Alliance interfaces are more 'point and swipe'; Chatcaavan tech tends to treat things more like 3d, not flat surfaces.)
Weapons
- whips among the Chatcaava were never developed to be used on beasts of burden, only on one another [4]
Ships
Smallest carrier: 8 fighters
Armor
You can get this part out of Only the Open and Air-Dancing
