Territory

The Seni parcel is one of the northwestern, and one of the largest, with only Jesa larger (and Delen, very close behind). Despite this, Seni's lands are somewhat less sparsely populated at the start of the modern narrative, and only begins to pick up people when Ingleside develops. Its borders include Nase to the north, Nuera to the south, the neutral House of Deriline to the west (its longest border), and Delen and Jesa to the east.

This land shares Nuera's fertility, but never had the husbandry that would have seen its agriculture developed. Instead, it is mostly pristine old growth forests, and the wild flora available there is valuable for medicinal and culinary properties.

To the west of the manor is the Seni village, and later, to the south, Ingleside.

History

We know that Amber was named for a grandfather (Jeasa's father) famous for being a knight who did killed monsters (and died that way).

Livestock is mentioned at some point, and I don't remember which book it was.

• The Seni servants use pennyroyal to freshen the sheets when they are staying at the Seni townhouse or the Ontine apartments.
