For informal groups of people that aren't part of some organization but that I need to keep track of as a bunch. I might put other groups here if their groups are sufficiently unofficial, or hard to find. This is an author reference page, please don't add to it.

Tolden's Friends

Wedding Crashers

Their set really had come—theirs in particular, not their elders, a flock of expensively dressed women with their hopeful swains hovering just beyond their shoulders, hoping to be of service to them. Lisinthir recognized nearly all their faces, female and male, and identified at least four men he'd chased out of the dueling square when he'd been younger and angrier.[3]

Mentioned as people Lisinthir dueled, but not explicitly noted as present at wedding:

The Chatcaavan Retinue, Investiture

The Queen Ransomed came first, dressed in a silver and white and orange robe that included embroidered panels draped from her arched wings. Beside her and a little behind was their cousin Lisinthir, once Nase Galare and now Lauvet Imthereli and whatever extra family name he’d acquired by becoming the consort of an emperor. Behind them, an entire entourage of Chatcaava; at least thirty, Sediryl thought, in varied dress. Some looked like courtiers, others guards, and at least one or two of them might have been priests. [... several pages later ...] The Queen Ransomed introduced her retinue: her personal vassal, the Twelveworld Lord and his Attendant; her new Knife, head of her security; a priest and priestess of the Living Air and several civil servants, some of whom were even female; and the rest guards, to lend her countenance.[5]

  • Queen Ransomed
  • The Knife
  • Twelveworld Lord and his retinue, including the Attendant and the courtier (Preserve Huntmaster's Heir[6]) who fell into a tree
  • the guy who became Bodyguard
  • Sojourner Stars
  • a priest (Juurik[7]) and priestess of the Living Air
  • several civil servants, including some female ones
  • some guards

Returning with Lisinthir to the Empire

Tolden's Chatcaavan Friends

It is implied that Tolden and company make friends with dragon courtiers during their stay on the Throneworld, but the only ones mentioned by title are the Twelveworld Lord, his Attendant, and the Huntmaster's Heir. The Twelveworld Lord calls Tolden "huntfriend" toward the end of the visit. [8]
