Commander West, on loan from the Terran Space Navy, took a special interest in Alysha Forrest after seeing her performance in Fleet Academe's capture the flag exercises. He was also present when Forrest's triggers caused her to viciously attack while in a fugue Baner Ajasiin,[1] and later Zennir.[2] Laelkii Takara Lifeweave observed his interest and told Forrest "You couldn't ask for a better mentor."[2]
