Gavin Medearin

Medearin is a member of the terrorist faction of the Secessionists on Gledig.

Physical Characteristics

Gavin Medearin is a human man Dylan Brushnie's age or a little younger, with blond hair and a square jaw.

Recent History

At some point prior to Sword of the Alliance, Medearin was responsible for a prison break-out of Secessionists that resulted in a number of deaths. He then bombed the governor's mansion when the Fleet entourage led by Alysha Forrest was visiting; he also took Governor Kerenkev hostage at that time. He later attacked a lunch Dylan Brushnie was having with Svetlana Karishenikov and Taylitha Basil, despite having been (hypothetically) ordered to stop such actions. Unbeknownst to Dylan, Medearin had been operating under the direction of Langorn.

In the chaos, he and his men captured Svetlana Karishenikov. He bound and interrogated her, ultimately giving her implicit physical and sexual threats--but, more importantly, threatening to murder her family if she doesn't give up the location of the Pro-Accord base. She ultimately does so.

When pirates ultimately landed on Gledig and Dylan changed the priority to fighting them off, Medearin attacked him from behind. Dylan wrestled him to the ground and slit his throat.
