The summer capital of the Pelted Alliance, situated in the mountains on the Northern Hemisphere of the capital planet Selnor. Location of the foundation Fleet Academe campus. Fleet's unoffical 'home away from orbit.' Reminder: medium high gravity

History
Geography and Architecture
IMPORTANT! Terracentrus was designed and settled before Pads were invented, so it will be built around walking distances and spacecraft landings.
- Millennium Walk, available directly from the main spaceport; "along with six other streets, it bisects all the walks, streets, and boulevards in Terracentrus."[1]
- Center Walk and Main Street, major boulevards whose intersection marks the central area of the city.[1]
- All walks run east-west.[1]
- All streets run north-south.[1]
- All boulevards run diagonally.[1]
Walking east from the eastern edge of the city where the monorail station debouches takes you to the edge of the commercial district, then there's a residential area, then the Fleet campus.[1]
Notable Landmarks
Laniis wanders through bits of Terracentrus in her short story in Major Pieces, I should look that up and add the stuff here.
- The Apron - "the area around the port that had somehow become a boutique shopping area, dense with tourists even in winter."[2]
- Blue Smoke - bar frequented by Fleet Academe staff. (So presumably somewhere in the Fleet district) [2]
- Fleet hospital complex is located on a hill in the Fleet district. [2]
- Leigh Walk, where (or near where?) Nathan and Laelkii Lifeweave lived.[3] It was also just past Reign Boulevard.
- Terracentrus Amphitheater, a public amphitheater where Fleet Academe graduations take place. "A vast, open-air structure, it consisted of a broad stage of metal arabesques and stone, backed by three connected arches, the center taller than the two symmetrical sides. These arches repeated the Art Deco style of the stage. Facing the stage, a monumental clam shell housed the stadium seating, an uninterrupted curve of gray stone and dark metal that rose in solemn grace to almost fifteen hundred feet."[4]
Somewhere near the Academe we have the district where Phantasies was. "A deserted place on the edge of dusk," with many "nonfunctional" street lamps, some of which flicker. Phantasies had boarded over windows, but wasn't neglected.[1]
Interestingly, clinics can be operated in residential areas, and as a home business, in Terracentrus. Nathan's was one of them. Other than the clinic's staff on the side, there was no evidence it wasn't a house.[3]
