An overview of medical technology, practices, and ethics.
Alliance Medicine
Alliance medical technology is marked by its advanced technology, extremely tight privacy restrictions (due in part to the fact that the original Pelted on Terra were sometimes used as essentially lab animals), and a distinction between healers and doctors. See Alliance Medicine for more information.
Chatcaavan Medicine
Chatcaavan medicine is heavily influenced by the Chatcaavan status hierarchy, and the distinction between those Inside and Outside. See Chatcaavan Medical Technology for more information.
Faulfenzair Medicine
See Faulfenzair Medicine.
Eldritch Medicine
- "These make the tisane that helps elders with their joint pains" [1]
- An elderly Eldritch in the Seni tenant village knows "where all the best plants are, the ones people forget should be used for things like medicine." He makes elixirs and tonics, including one for relaxation.[2]
- Master Taren mentioned as herbalist[3]
- Sela, senior manse servant and Reese's tenant, asked to be hired. She said, in part, "...though I can keep house for you as is traditional, Mistress, what I learned first and best was the herb craft." [4]
