Chatcaava
"We once worshipped gods outside ourselves, but now that we have traded our idols for self-worship, we cannot change."[10]
Living Air
One of the major religions of the Chatcaava. An ancient worship tradition, newly revived.
Ideals
Old Chatcaavan religious texts refer to a time when "the Living Air held all the things to come in its invisible, ineffable body. Those things existed in a state of Perfection—holy, pure, and consistent. All things that exist were said to be memories of those Perfections made manifest... imperfect themselves, copies that aspired to their origin. A thing that is close to that Perfect version of itself has Beauty. [...] We do not have many sacred words anymore."[10]
See also Chatcaavan Language.

- "They're all nervous as a Karaka'An in hell without a map. And you know we have twenty of them. Hells, I mean." [17]

Seersa
Most Seersa worship the Speaker-Singer.
- "...by the standards of these Seerse, Zafiil was more devout than many people because she knew two languages and part of a third."[18]
There is a separate Seersan religion, which worships four elemental sisters: Mist, Earth, Lava, and... Ocean, I think.
- Rispa is the Mist Sister.[6] "Rispa ... one of the Seersan Four Sisters. The goddess of Ice. She is cold and unapproachable, as ephemeral as mist. Her ruling spheres are displacement and ennui." Depicted in a Seersan tarot-like card deck as a white foxine female, her hair dissolving into a gossamer fog behind her, with strange writings pouring down her back, holding a silver bowl in one hand and with a silver comb sitting between her perked ears. [20]
Possibly part of some other Seersan belief system:
- Karesing: the Dancer. "She holds fire within her, a fire that consumer her so totally her body is colored like it. Her joy is so intense the universe feels compelled to dance with her. Her ruling spheres are purpose and fearlessness." Depicted in a Seersan tarot-like card deck as a bright orange and red female with streaks of flame blue and white, caught in the act of dancing, with a whirling galaxy behind her and white stars pooled at her feet. [20]
