Trivia

The first edition of Alysha's Fall was published by Jim Doolittle's small press, Cornwuff Press, in 2000. At the time, color covers were created with successive 'screens' of color. Each additional color screen cost more (a lot more), so it wasn't unusual for small press efforts to have B&W covers only, or single-color covers. Jim was willing to shell out for a single color cover, which meant I had black, white, and one more color to work with. I chose yellow, which is what resulted in the first edition's "lit by lamplight" look.
